Add Members
Each member receives their own user account with a username (email address) and password. Organization administrators can add or remove members. However, a user can also be registered as a member in multiple organizations simultaneously.
External members can be added to the organization as a regular member and then moved to a group “External”.
Click the Add button at the top right in the Members menu to add members to your organization.
There are three ways to add a member to an organization:
- Add manually
- Import from Excel list
- Add already registered members
Add Manually
With the Add manually method, a single member can be added to the organization. Fill in all fields with the corresponding information and confirm by clicking Register member. Required fields are marked with an * (e.g., First name*, Last name*, Email address*).
Great 🎉 Your organization now has a new member.
The member will receive an email with a link to set the password. If this email is not received, the member can click Forgot password at Login to reset the password again.
Import from Excel List
This option can be used to register multiple members from a list simultaneously.
Click in the red-bordered area to upload your Excel member list.
If you do not yet have an Excel list of your members, you can download the “Excel file example” at the top right. You can then open this file in Excel and fill it with your member information. After saving the file, you can upload it to Sanboard.
The Excel list will then be read and appear in the preview. First, the applicable column numbers must be assigned. So if the last names are in the second column, enter a 2 in the text field. Assign all column numbers and check in the lower preview if all rows have been correctly assigned.
If you want to read a new Excel list, you can click the Read new table button at the top right.
Once you are satisfied with the preview of the new members, you can click the red Register all button to register the members.
Excellent 🎉 Your organization now has new members.
Add Already Registered Members
If a member is already registered with Sanboard, you can invite them to your organization using the search function.
Enter the person’s name in the search field.
All matches will be displayed and can be invited to the organization by clicking Add. The member will be notified of the invitation via email and can join the organization the next time they log into Sanboard.
Super 🎉 Your organization will soon have a new member.
